While many consultants claim to “contribute to the bottom line” or “bring passion to the table,” my service is clear and specific: strong, accurate writing that sells. Sometimes the pitch is apparent; at other times, I present straight, factual information to advance the sales process.

Other writing supports sales campaigns with web content, ghosted articles for trade publications, white papers, press releases, collateral, speeches, presentations and more. I love a great story. A story can convey a vital message in a memorable way. Just as tales have inspired diverse cultures over the centuries, the corporate culture cherishes its stories, recounting how the company came to be or how employees went the extra mile to please or how the product made a real difference for the client. I help you identify and tell these stories.

 

How I write your sales story:

 

Effective sales writing evolves from a solid understanding of your business and what you are trying to achieve. I ask a lot of questions because I care about getting your project right. The better I understand what makes your company unique, the better the writing. 

 

I prepare thoroughly before our initial meeting to hit top speed quickly.  Many clients simply overnight me a thick envelope with internal memos, articles torn from trade newsletters, files accumulated over time and current corporate publications so I'm ready to go when we meet.

 

I aim for perfect copy the first time, but if I miss the mark, I welcome your input and try again. I am easy to work with, and having me on board is much like working with your own staff.
